Royal Society of Edinburgh Personal Research Fellowship awarded to Miguel de Carvalho

Congratualtions to Miguel de Carvalho, who has been awarded a personal research fellowship from the Royal Society of Edinburgh.

Miguel will research Artificial Neural Models for Record-Breaking Extreme Events by aiming to develop a comprehensive suite of AI methodologies for the statistical modelling of tail events, with the goal of enhancing predictions of individual and cascading extreme events.
