The School of Mathematics is dedicated to valuing and celebrating diversity, and ensuring equality of opportunity for all staff, students, and visitors. We are committed to creating a community which is inclusive and respectful of all our staff and students, and their lived experiences. What do we mean by EDI? Equality means assuring that all groups of individuals are treated fairly and equally, with no favourability, specific to their needs. Diversity means recognising and valuing peoples' differences, and inclusivity means promoting a culture which respects these differences and allows everyone to realise their full potential. See the University's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion website for more information on how the University is combatting discrimination. The College of Science and Engineering also has an EDI Hub which contains useful resources and contacts on a College level. For further information regarding student/staff-specific Equality, Diversity and Inclusion resources, please see the Student or Staff EDI webpages (require EASE login).
