Professor Jordan has been recognised by the London Mathematical Society for the foundational 2018 paper ‘Integrating quantum groups over surfaces’. He shares the honour with his co-author Professor Adrien Brochier from the Institut de Mathématiques de Jussieu-Paris Rive Gauche, who is a former Whittaker Research Fellow in the School.The 2025 prize winners were announced at the London Mathematical Society meeting on Friday 4 July 2025.
