Ben Davison is invited speaker for ICM 2026

Professor Davison has been invited to speak at the next International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM) which will take place in Philadelphia in 2026.

The ICM, which has been running since 1897, takes place only once every four years. Being an invited ICM speaker is considered one of the most prestigious honours within the mathematical community.

Ben is a member of the Hodge Institute and is the School's Chair of Geometry and Representation Theory. His work spans enumerative algebraic geometry, geometric representation theory and algebra.

A photo of Ben Davison - he is wearing a pink T-shirt and leaning against a wall. There is a small dog perched on the wall next to him. In the background is a beautiful sunset scene over a lake.
