We deliver numerous events for a variety of audiences throughout the year. See which ones you can get involved in via this page.

Over the summer, our outreach event offerings are limited as we prepare for the upcoming academic year. However, exciting events, including Doors Open Day and Maths Week Scotland, are on the horizon. We encourage you to stay connected, as we'll populate this website with further details closer to September.

 

When: Saturday 26th September 10:00am- 4:00pm

Where: McEwan Hall

As part of the Doors Open Day, we will join other University of Edinburgh scientists to share what makes our job fun and interesting. How long is the UK coastline? Can you draw an accurate map of the world? Come and find us to answer these questions and much more. The event is free and no booking is required.


When: Saturday 11th October 11:00am-12:30pm

Where: Royal Mile

Join us on a tour along the Royal Mile as we explore together some of the mathematical delights hidden in Edinburgh city center and have a go along the way at fun mathematical puzzles. The event is free but booking is required. For further information and to book a ticket click on the link below.
