Mathematics PhD student wins prestigious Student Pitch Hour at ESA Summit

SENSE CDT PhD student Anastasia Kozhevnikova recently won the Student Pitch Hour prize.

Anastasia Kozhevnikova attended the ESA Φ-nnovation Summit at the European Space Research Institute in Frascati. The 3-day event brought together forward-thinking researchers, bold entrepreneurs, and technology pioneers to explore the future of Earth Observation. 

As part of this Anastasia took part in the Student Pitch Hour, a dedicated, interactive session where university students showcase their new ideas and research on Earth Observation and emerging technologies. Anastasia ultimately won this competition and has been invited to join the ESA Φ-lab as a visiting researcher. Congratulations!
