IT Manager Steve Law retires after 36 years of service

Staff gathered in the common room to wish Steve all the best for his retirement as he concludes 36 years of IT leadership in the School.

Bernd Shoers, Head of School, says, "Steve worked in the School of Mathematics for 36 years, spanning 10 Heads of School, so his retirement as IT manager truly marks the end of an era.

We all thank him for invariably friendly and profoundly competent management of IT matters, for leading and supporting the IT team, for extraordinary and additional work in supporting the IT needs at ICMS, for his key contributions in helping the School navigate the pandemic, and for his numerous initiatives in the School community.

We’ll miss him, and wish him a happy retirement, with time for cycling, swimming, fishing, samba gigs, traveling – and his wonderful family!"
