Incoming sport scholar and competition climber Aleksandra Kałucka has won bronze in Olympic speed climbing, scaling the 15-metre wall in just 6.53 seconds. Her success at Paris 2024 is just the latest in a series of acolades. In 2022, she won the World University Championships and won the silver medal at the 2022 IFSC Climbing European Championships, in Munich.Aleksandra completed her bachelor's degree in mathematics at the Tarnów Academy, Poland, earlier this year and will join the School of Mathematics from September 2024.The School extends its warmest congratulations to Aleksandra on her outstanding achievement.
