Erin Goldstraw has been awarded a Daphne Jackson fellowship

The appointment will be with the School of Mathematics though with joint supervision with SoPA.

Previosly, Dr Erin Goldstraw was in the SoPA MSc Mathematical Physics programm 2014/15, graduating with Distinction and class medal. Erin's project aims to combine current knowledge between plasma turbulence, solar physics and fusion research in a way that is understandable and useful for all of these fields.

Daphne Jackson Fellowships help researchers resume their careers after a 2+ year break and include personalized retraining with a research project at a supportive UK institution.
