Amy Wilson and Nina Fischer are heading to London on June 24 for 'From Edinburgh to London: evidence, innovation and collaboration for climate finance'. Amy Wilson, Lecturer in Industrial Mathematics, will be presenting her work on modelling uncertainties for flood risk at the event organised by the University's Centre for Business, Climate Change and Sustainability. Amy will be joined by Vishal Kumar from sustainable investment firm Canbury Insights Ltd, and Christos Mitas, Managing Director at finance firm Moody's. Nina Fischer, Researcher in Communicating Uncertainty Quantification for Flood Modelling, will also be showcasing her visualisations during the event's 'Climate Finance Marketplace'.
