Welcome to the School of Mathematics applied and computational mathematics colloquia events page. This is a joint colloquium series run by the applied maths groups at the University of Edinburgh and Heriot Watt University. The seminar attracts quite a large and diverse audience — academics from both institutions + PhD and master’s students. The colloquium happens once every three weeks or so, and we have two speakers per event. Our seminar information is stored in Google Calendar. To read more information about an event, select the event title in the Calendar. You can subscribe to this calendar with your preferred calendar program (Thunderbird with Lightning, Apple Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Evolution, etc). There are videos of some of the previous Applied and Computational Mathematics seminars available.
